38th Street Historic Register Pending

The City of Sacramento’s Preservation Commission will meet on Wednesday, April 17 at 5:30 PM, at City Hall, 915 I Street, City Council Chambers.
At its April 17 meeting, the Commission will hear nominations to the Sacramento Register of Historic and Cultural Resources for four homes on 38th Street in East Sacramento (1081 38th, 1109 38th, 1308 38th, and 1315 38th.) These homes were originally identified as part of a survey of 38th Street, and the owners have agreed to move forward nominations for their properties.
East Sacramento Preservation will submit a letter of support for the 38th street listings, and encourages the public to do likewise. Comments can be submitted via email to Sean DeCourcy, Community Development Department, at sdecourcy@cityofsacramento.org. If you send an email, be sure to reference project number M18-017 for the homes on 38th Street, or M19-001 for 730 I Street/Bank of America Building. We also encourage our members to attend the Preservation Commission meeting in person, and testify in support if they wish; these meetings are open to the public.
The full agenda for the April 17 Preservation Commission meeting will be posted after Friday, April 12, at http://sacramento.granicus.com/viewpublisher.php?view_id=30
