Tree Planting Season Wrap-Up at McKinley Park

March 29 marked a successful and heartfelt close to this year’s tree planting season. With the addition of 17 new trees, we’ve now planted a total of 33 trees in 2025—an inspiring step forward for our growing urban forest.
This final event was especially memorable thanks to the energy and enthusiasm of the young volunteers who rolled up their sleeves and dug right in. Their dedication gave us hope for a greener, stronger future.
A big thank-you to everyone who joined us this season and especially to the City for its ongoing support.
While we’re now officially out of tree planting season, we’re already looking ahead to next year—with big dreams and plenty more trees on the horizon.
