Mercy Hospital Smoking Policy Irritates Neighborhood

There is nothing good about smoking. East Sacramento Preservation lauds the hospital for making the campus smoke-free. But here’s the burn: employees now take cigarette breaks near residents’ homes and bring second hand smoke with them.

Smokers even sit on the fence of one home, two feet away from windows. If Mercy truly cared about the neighborhood, they would quickly nip this problem in the ‘butt.’
