| Rain or Shine – Let’s Grow the Canopy! East Sacramento Preservation-Neighborhood Association, is working in partnership with Sacramento City Parks, Urban Forestry Arborists, Sacramento Tree Foundation, and SMUD,to restore and enhance McKinley Park’s tree canopy. Date: January 10, 2026 ⏰ Time: 9:00 AM (rain or shine) 📍 Meeting Location: 33rd Street, George “Butter” Cole Field, Location of new soccer field. We will meet near the Horseshoe Pits in McKinley Park. (Look for the white tool van and City of Sacramento trucks.) 🌱 What You’ll Be Doing 45 volunteers are needed to plant 10-15 new trees in McKinley Park.
