Mayor Kevin Johnson listened attentively to dozens of East Sacramentans explain deep concerns about safety on the American River Bike Trail.
The group came dressed in black shirts and bike jerseys to explain the attacks and criminal events that occur on the parkway. Johnson took notes and asked for information.
Among other safety measures the group asked him to partner with the County to return the patrol to the level prior to the recent budget cuts.
East Sacramento Preservation supports the group’s actions and hopes the mayor will intervene and help the citizens.
