GENERAL INFORMATION
East Sacramento Preservation is a 501c3 with the mission to preserve and support the community of East Sacramento. We are strong supporters of public schools and support the schools that serve East Sacramento. We advocate for students and for providing the educational programs that help them to achieve their goals. Our community has contributed to establish a scholarship fund for the students of UMOJA International Academy and Hiram W. Johnson High School.
THE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
Yearly, there shall be 3 awards to students graduating from UMOJA International Academy and Hiram W. Johnson High School in the Sacramento City Unified School District. The amount of this cash award will be determined annually by ESP, based on the earnings of the funds and fundraising efforts.
PRESENTATION OF AWARD
These scholarship awards shall be presented annually. The presentation shall be made by an East Sacramento Preservation board member, as decided by the scholarship committee.
