Cheri and Jack

A shop dog’s life is busy. Greetings with a wag and sniff, long rests in a quiet corner, peeking out the window at the passing clouds–it’s a canine career of serious proportions. Jack takes it all in stride and on Saturday, Summer Porch’s owner, Cheri Malkasian, threw him a party.

Jack stood proud and happy surrounded by his fans and treats.

The Harvest Sacramento East Sacramento citrus harvest was a success, despite rain. Crews met at the McKinley park bleachers at 9:00 am, just as the downpour relented.
