The public is invited to attend a free tree care workshop to learn about caring for the trees of McKinley Park. Master Arborist, Susan Sims, will be discussing plant biology and offering a prescription for park canopy health and well-being on Saturday February 5, 8:30 am-12:30 pm at the Clunie Community Center, 601 Alhambra Boulevard, Sacramento 95816.

McKinley Park – Saturday, January 8th

East Sacramento residents may assist with landscape maintenance of McKinley Park. There will be a “prune-a-thon” on January 8 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the McKinley Park Rose Garden.  Volunteers are asked to bring garden gloves.
