Upcoming Neighborhood Association Meeting — Tuesday, January 27 at 7:00 PM
The Casa Loma Terrace–East Sac Neighborhood Association invites all neighbors to attend their upcoming community meeting on Tuesday, January 27 at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will cover several important issues affecting East Sacramento and surrounding areas.
A park ranger will be present to discuss recent concerns and ongoing issues at McKinley Park, including park use, safety, and stewardship.
We will also hear from the developer of the proposed storage facility at the former Rite Aid site on Alhambra Boulevard, who will present updated design changes. Neighbors from the immediate area will share their perspectives and concerns, and time will be set aside for discussion.
In addition, there will be an update on the proposed project at the Maryann’s Bakery site, providing the latest information on plans and next steps.
These topics directly affect our neighborhood, and your presence matters. Community input plays an important role in shaping outcomes and ensuring that neighborhood voices are heard.
Please invite a neighbor and join us for this important conversation. East Sacramento Preservation looks forward to seeing you there.

Big Quarterly Trash Dash – Saturday, November 23
Join us at 10:00 a.m. on the lawn between 620–630 Alhambra Blvd., just south of the walkway to the Children’s Play Area near the Duck Pond.
We’ll be out with our partners from City Parks, and we’re bringing coffee and donuts to kick things off—plus pizzawhen we wrap up.
This is our quarterly BIG cleanup event, supported by a City grant, and we’ll have a great crew of college volunteers joining us. It’s going to be a terrific morning of community work.
With Thanksgiving and the Run to Feed the Hungry right around the corner, this is the perfect moment to make our park shine. Let’s show visitors the beauty and spirit of Midtown and East Sacramento.
