Run to Feed the Hungry 2011—Wet and Wonderful

It was wet. It was wonderful. Every year I love to stand at the Y. The route changed a little this year, but the race split was at 45th and J Streets. Soaked turkey hats, rain gear and lots of slogging marked this 18th year of the run.
Enjoy the pictures and Happy Thanksgiving from East Sacramento Preservation.

Think Pink in East Sacramento—Shop Local

Okay, so I know that Pink House specializes in shoes, handbags and accessories, but they have these little baby hats that kill me. Don’t I know someone with a new baby… the neighbor’s daughter, that lady who walks the corgi?

Baby caps aside, Pink House is the pink place to go to tie it all together. It’s a unique East Sacramento shop, owned and operated by an East Sacramento resident.
