Trees of McKinley Park – Free Workshop

The public is invited to attend a free tree care workshop to learn about caring for the trees of McKinley Park. East Sacramento Preservation Promotes Harvest Sacramento

Most of us have them. Delicious low hanging fruit and high unreachable delights. Sadly, much of the East Sacramento harvest goes to waste. Harvest Sacramento is an urban food recovery group started by two East Sacramentans, Mary McGrath and Robin Aurelius. The organization will pick your fruit and get it to those in need. Let’s get as much viable fruit harvested this year. Harvest Sacramento plans an East Sac pick in January and then again in February. Call or email to volunteer or to be “picked:”
