Busy Weekend in McKinley Park: Volunteers Needed

Saturday:
Join us in caring for the roses in the historic rose garden. Wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather! Tools, instructions on proper pruning techniques, and warm coffee will be provided.

Sunday:
Plan to join us at 10 am Sunday, December 15th, for our monthly Trash Dash. Meet us by the duck pond near the library building. We’re expecting a brisk but clear morning to get our park in tip-top shape. This is a family-friendly event and a great opportunity for local students to earn community service credits.

We’ll provide trash bags, litter grabbers, gloves, and water. Bring your can-do attitude, a smile, and a reusable water bottle to fill up. Come out, meet new friends, and help make our neighborhood sparkle.

Look for our signs at the park!
