I have to work tonight and can not come to the meeting. Please vote against this project. We already have too much/unsafe traffic and this project opens us up to flooding. This project is NOT necessary.

McKinley Village should NOT be built. It compromises nearly everything the area stands for. I am for it remaining as a place to grow foods and share the abundance to those in need and to those who contribute.
I was born and raised in the heart of Sacramento 58 years ago and have watched Sacramento grow into the Metropolitan it has become. Some has been good, some bad (still sore over the loss of the great Alhambra Theatre to name one). There is too much “urban” already. We need to save some “dirt” areas instead of covering everything with tar and concrete just to line a few people’s pockets with fool’s gold. Stop the madness and greed!!!

I’m just curious as to where the kids will go to school. Theodore Judah is full and classrooms are at maximum capacity. Will Washington Elementary be reopened, or will McKinley Village be in The San Juan District?
