Dogwoods of East Sacramento

They are barely here and then they’re gone.

Twenty years ago they became popular in East Sacramento. Plant and tree fashions come and go, but along with the azaleas, camellias, sycamores and hydrangeas, dogwoods are now an icon of East Sacramento… spring

Sun tickles the petals so softly. They glow and flutter in the spring breeze. The light shifts and fades.
